To send a private message to another user, simply click on the name of the person you want to "whisper" to.

How do I create a new chatroom within the current chatroom?

You can join existing chatrooms instantly by "jumping" from one chatroom to another, or create a chatroom instantly from within a chatroom. To create a new room, type "/join [roomname]". So if you wanted to join the room named "privateroom", simply type "/join privateroom". If this room did not already exist, it would be automatically created with only you in the room.

How do I change my user name within the chatroom?

You can change your username at any time you wish by typing "/nick [new username]" where [new username] is your desired new user name. People in the room will be made aware of your new name, which is changed instantly.
