time spent on paperwork, tx team meetings, indv sessions, etc.

Recreation Therapists.... how do you spend your typical work day? Young TR's are asking how veteran's TR's go about their work day.

My typical day at work is arrive at 7:30 am to pass out breakfast trays on SCU until 8:45, prepare for program by 9:30, start gathering residents for 10 am program, prgrm ends 11:30. Transport res. back to rooms. 12-1 document,1-1:30 mail delivery, 1:30 gather res. for program, 2-3:15 prgrm, 3:30-4 transport res. back to rooms, 4-6 initals, discharges,progress notes, MDS, documentation, etc. For a 144 bed facility!! not enough time in a day
